A - General regulations
- The use of our services and attendance at our center are governed by the conditions stipulated in the rules and procedures document provided with the service rental contract. The member agrees to abide by them, to conduct himself/herself in a respectable manner at all times, and to refrain from doing or saying anything that might interfere with the smooth operation of CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. and harm its reputation, as well as the activities of other members.
- CEF Kompra Bootcamp Inc. reserves the right to refuse registration to any person who is an employee, director or owner of a fitness center and/or training group related to obstacle courses and/or ninja sports (“Ninja Warrior”).
- CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. reserves the right to modify, add or delete any rules deemed necessary for the improvement and/or functioning of its operations.
- The use of a member's subscription by anyone other than the registered member may result in the immediate cancellation of the cardholder's rights and privileges.
- Unauthorized use of a service by a member constitutes a breach of the subscription contract and may result in its cancellation.
- It is strictly forbidden for a member to solicit or sell products and/or services to customers on our premises. Should a member be caught in this situation, the cardholder's rights and privileges will be cancelled immediately and he/she will be liable to legal action by CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc.
- It is strictly forbidden for a member to solicit, promote or sell on our premises the products and/or services of another group or training center related to obstacle courses and/or the ninja sport “Ninja Warrior” to customers. In the event that a member is found in default, this will result in the immediate cancellation of the cardholder's rights and privileges, and he/she will be liable to legal action by CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc.
- CEF Kompra Bootcamp Inc. through its staff reserves the right to cancel a member's membership in the event that the member violates any of the rules.
- CEF Kompra Bootcamp Inc. reserves the right to close the premises temporarily for maintenance and/or repairs or to modify opening hours according to season and/or holidays and/or staff training and/or community activities and/or outdoor events, including the operation of its mobile obstacle course.
- Children under 7 years of age are not allowed on fitness and/or obstacle courses.
- For any request for cancellation within a period equal to 1/10 of the term of this contract, the value of related services consumed during this period will be deducted from the refund calculation.
- Any substitution or addition of services to the original contract is possible only if the member renews his or her agreement for a higher-value package (according to the current price list and payment method). This modification entails the start of a new full contract term. Cancellation of certain services on the initial subscription is only accepted at the time of renewal.
- Visit contract suspensions will only be considered for medical reasons and will result in an extension of the membership to complete the one-year period stipulated in the contract. All requests must be made in writing, accompanied by the medical certificate and presented to the director of CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. before the beginning of the period covered by the extension or suspension. The payments provided for in the contract will be collected without interruption in accordance with the terms of the agreement. However, the period corresponding to the duration of the freeze will be added to the end of the original contract term. (Not applicable to short-term and daily subscriptions.) Suspensions may not exceed twelve (12) months and may entail administrative charges (according to the current rate schedule). In the case of subscription renewals, the total duration of suspensions may not exceed the twelve (12) months stipulated in the initial contract.
- In some cases, the employer pays for a portion or all of the employee's membership. If the employer's payment is not received in full or in part, CEF Kompra Bootcamp Inc. reserves the right to modify or cancel the membership.
- In order to improve the cleanliness of the premises during the period from November 1st to April 30th, it is forbidden to move around the center with footwear you wear outdoors (boots, overshoes, shoes, espadrilles, etc.). During this period, you must remove your outdoor shoes on arrival at the branch, using the stools in the designated area, and put on your training shoes. You must take your outdoor shoes to the checkroom and deposit them at your convenience on the rubber mat or in the lockers. When you leave the premises, you must again avoid wearing your outdoor shoes in the center and only put them back on when you reach the designated area.
B- Regulations governing the use of services
Access to the center
- Visit members must reserve their place to each of its courses or events no later than 2 hours before the start of the course or event. CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. cannot guarantee access to its services if the member has not reserved his or her attendance. No compensation is offered in the latter case.
- Upon arrival, members must sign in and register their presence at the reception desk for each visit.
- Members must vacate their lockers after training.
- CEF Kompra Bootcamp Inc. accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen items and advises members to leave valuables in their cars or at home.
- The children's waiting area is a free courtesy service. Parents remain responsible at all times for their children and any damage caused by them in the waiting area.
Training trays and obstacle courses
- On all strength and cardiovascular training platforms, as well as on the obstacle course, each member must bring his or her own towel to wipe off any traces of sweat on the equipment. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of membership. After 3 failures, a towel rental fee of 2$ +tx will be automatically charged for each failure.
- An opaque sports shirt or camisole that completely covers the chest must be worn at all times.
- Shorts, pants or opaque leggings that completely cover the buttocks must be worn at all times.
- The port ofclean espadrilles is mandatory.
- It is forbidden to run on the training plateau and obstacle course at any time.
- It is forbidden to chew gum at the center, during training sessions and free periods.
- It is forbidden to bring a training bag to the training area.
- Only liquid chalk or transparent hand coatings are allowed on the obstacle course. No powdered chalk is accepted.
- Obstacles must be used as originally intended. Any practice that does not conform or is deemed unsafe by our team is forbidden. Members and non-members at fault are liable to expulsion from the training area, without refund.
- During free periods, equipment and obstacles must be used alternately with other members and non-members present.
C - Rules and procedures for strength and cardiovascular training platforms
- When developing a training program, it's important to follow certain basic principles to benefit from the effects of training and improve your physical condition in a safe environment. To this end, we offer a range of coaching services for a fee (according to the current fee schedule).
- We strongly recommend that you warm up and get moving before starting your strength training session. To this end, we recommend that you follow the activation routine available at the center and indicated on the central board. Consult our staff if necessary.
- It is strictly forbidden to drop loads violently onto the ground or onto the supports provided for this purpose.
- It is forbidden to modify or move any part of the obstacles under any circumstances.
- Any member, participant or visitor wishing to use a new piece of equipment or obstacle must first meet with a member of our team, such as a trainer, who will explain how the equipment or obstacle works and adjust the parameters to suit his or her ability.
- Our trainers are fully trained to provide adequate supervision; the final decision regarding the prescription and execution of exercises rests with them.
- All complete training programs include stretching exercises. These are performed at the end of each group class, as prescribed by the trainer. Stretching in the children's waiting area is strictly forbidden.
- Members, visitors or participants must have completed their training session by the closing time indicated on the training area schedule during free periods.
- Any member or guest caught using, possessing or dealing in anabolic steroids or any other prohibited product will be reported to the legal authorities and will be excluded for life from CEF Kompra Bootcamp Inc.
- We suggest you book a free trial appointment before coming to CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. for the first time.
D - Rules and procedures for group fitness classes
- Each session of regular group fitness classes lasts approximately 60 minutes.
- Any member wishing to participate in a group fitness class must register on the CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. website or the application used by CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. to manage its activities, in the section provided for this purpose.
- A member may attend no more than one (1) regularly scheduled group class per day.
- For courses or periods marked "free access", reservations are not required and member access priority is determined on a first-come, first-served basis.
- As access to the course is limited according to the room's maximum capacity, the staff reserves the right to refuse a member if the participation limit is reached.
- CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. reserves the right to modify trainer assignments and course schedules at any time.
- CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. reserves the right to modify the course schedule for any group fitness course where the number of registrations and/or participants is deemed insufficient. It is therefore the member's responsibility to consult the schedule of available classes.
- All courses with places available are open to non-members.
- For schedules and registration information, please consult the CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. website in the «Courses» section and/or the application used by CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. to manage its activities.
E - Rules concerning unlimited subscriptions
- The unlimited membership gives access to all regular group classes available on the CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. schedule, at the rate of one regular group class per day.
- Unlimited membership does not apply to specialized training, events, workshops, seminars, free periods or competitions.
- CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. does not guarantee daily availability of group classes and may change its group class schedule at any time without notice.
F - Rules concerning 2-course-per-week subscriptions
- The 2 classes per week subscription gives access to eight (8) regular group classes per 30 days, according to the availability of the CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. schedule, at the rate of one regular group class per day.
- The 30-day period is calculated from the subscription anniversary date.
- The 2 lessons per week subscription does not apply to specialized training, events, workshops, seminars, free periods or competitions.
- CEF Kompra Bootcamp inc. does not guarantee daily availability of group classes and may change its group class schedule at any time.
